Hi First grade!! Oh what a fun and exciting year we have in store! I can't wait to meet you and learn all about you!
A little about myself. I moved to the United States when I was in 1997, and attended Medlock Bridge Elementary! so this place is home as I go into my 7th year of teaching here. Gabe, Rebecca, and I live here in Johns Creek. Rebecca is a fellow Mustang in second grade.
I'm a life long learner, who loves crafting, baking, and occasionally enjoys to belt out a good musical (horribly).
I love everything about the topics we cover in First grade. So, if you're like me and love to learn about biology, magnets, optics while also diving into great books on mythical creatures, famous scientists, leaders, and heroes, then you're absolutely going to love this year!

Mrs. Lawrence
Hi! My name is Megan Lawrence, and this will be my fourth year at Medlock Bridge. For the first two years, I taught 4th grade, and I taught kindergarten last year! This will be my first year as a first grade teacher. I am so excited about this new adventure!
I graduated from the University of North Georgia in May 2016 with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. In December 2017, I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Originally, I am from Hampton, Georgia, and I moved to Johns Creek right after graduating college. I have a husband, Adam, and two adorable pups, Bear and Piper. I can't wait to spend the year

Mrs. Maggio
Hello! I am Jennifer Maggio, and I will be your child's first grade teacher during this academic year. This will be my eight year teaching at Medlock Bridge.
I have lived in five different states, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Washington, and Virginia. I graduated from Longwood University, located in Virginia, with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.
Outside the classroom I love going on walks, hiking, playing with my dog (Riley), and reading. My husband and I are expecting a little boy in October this year. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your child. I look forward to watching the students grow this year!
Ms. Phillips
My name is Alisha Phillips. I am originally from Dallas, Texas. I moved to the Alpharetta/ Johns Creek area in 1992 with my mom and dad. I attended Medlock Bridge Elementary, Taylor Road Middle, and graduated from Northview High School. I attended Albany State University and majored in Early Childhood Education. I have about 10 years of experience working in an educational setting. I have a sister and mom that both live in Johns Creek. I currently live in Peachtree Corners. I have 2 dogs; a Yorkie named King and a Black Lab named Hope. I enjoy sports, music, traveling, attending concerts, cooking, reading, and hiking. I love candles and sunflowers! I am a huge Falcons and Georgia fan!
